The AED Observation Program at TCU allows all AED members and associate members to visit local area hospitals, where they can observe in the emergency room, during surgery, or at family practices to name a few. Members can take part multiple times throughout the year, to get a small glimpse of the vast field of medicine. Participation in this program is strongly recommended, as exposure to the medical field during undergraduate work helps students to be more competitive applicants when applying to professional schools.
